Located in the residential part of Venice (Venezia ) the Locanda Cá del Console was the house of the Austrian consular to Venezia in the 9th century. It has been very well preserved and maintains a place of prominence on the canal. The owner, Alvisé, is supportive of the cigar connoisseur and has his own boat for hire to get anywhere you need in the city. Average price for a water Taxi in Venice is about 60 euro. I enjoyed many cigars in both areas the hotel maintains; the portico overlooking the canal and the interior garden. The portico was especially good in the mornings and evenings as there was a breeze coming through the canals. Alvisé has a small bar where cocktails and coffee are available during your stay. Although I’ve yet to find a cigar store or vendor in the old City of Venice, the owners and location are very Cigar friendly and is recommended for the Cigar Connoisseur traveling to Venice Italy.

A luxury Hotel in the heart of Stuttgart. Directly across from the main train station. The Graf Zeppling has a well attended Daffidoff Lounge located on the ground floor of the hotel. The lounge has an impressive selection of Rums and and Whiskeys along with the Davidoff collection of ultra premium Cigars. The lounge is serviced by a talented concierge, Olaf. The hotel restaurant, The Zepplini, is only open for Dinner but is worth the wait. The hotel is a Cigar friendly location and highly recommended for the Cigar connoisseur traveling to Stuttgart Germany.

La Maison Champs Elysées

This hotel was amazing. From check in check out, the service, staff, and setting was perfect. The Blind bar and Salon Blanc was magnificent. It is a lounge in the most perfect sense. The lounge was quiet save the several conversations taking place that evening. The drink menu was very generous and there was a nice , but small selection, of both Cuban and new world cigars in a small humidor. The attendant in the lounge was knowledgeable and prompt. The location of the Hotel was in the northern part of the city and was within walking and taxi distance from all of the famed Paris sights. The hotel’s appointments are impressive and very Cigar friendly . Highly recommended for the Cigar connoisseur traveling to Paris.
